She's *always* in the library.
How did she escape being Lounge Lizard of the Week until now?
"The library is my second home! True dat, I live here!" - Liz
This week's library lounge lizard is NMH's own
J.P. from I.T.
This snappy dresser doesn't lounge for long. He's busy keeping our computer systems up and running.
This week we travelled to the Information Commons to find our Lounge Lizard of the week, Saskia! Earlier this afternoon we discovered her playing a version of Dance Dance Revolution, but instead of using her feet, she was using a keyboard, and man was she good at it!
I tried my luck, and it seems I'm going to need a little more practice to get up to Saskia's level of expertise.
When asked what she liked most about the Library, Saskia responded, "Well, it beats hanging out in my dorm room!" We're glad to have you here, Saskia, and many thanks for being this week's Lounge Lizard!

Hm, something seems a little strange with these Lounge Lizards of the Week. Emily '08 (left) and Lily '08 (right) seem to have swapped wardrobes this afternoon. Well, it is the NMH Library, and strange things happen here on a daily basis.
Emily is sporting Lily's Varsity Cross Country sweatshirt. Lily is dazzling the world with Emily's Red suit coat and an olive green cape with a silver clasp to add that touch of elegance. Also, notice the stylish black hat and glasses that just top off this well-dressed woman.
Hope you had fun switching outfits ladies, and congratulations on being this week's Lounge Lizards. :)

IVY says "I spend more time here than I do in my house."
Meet Emily, our Lounge Lizard of the Week. She has waited patiently for this moment and it has finally arrived. Here she poses with one of her favorite reads, The Satanic Verses. When asked for a quote she decided on this one, "His horns (not withstanding their single, momentary, and unobserved diminution) had grown both thicker and longer, twirling thmeselves into fanciful arabesques, wreathing his head in a turban of drakening bone."
Thanks Emily, and congratulations on becoming Library Lounge Lizard!

Library Lounge Lizard, Frank, says, "It's hot in here."

When asked what he enjoyed most about the Library, Nolen replied, "I definitely think the pleasant atmosphere is what makes me feel most at home here. The occasional quiet spells and the intelligent conversation is what really draws me in."

Benson '08
"Library is filled with concentration."
Benson has been our library lounge lizard photographer and blogger this term. Thank you, Benson! You've done a great job!

"I love hanging out at the library. I do my workjob here as an RCC. If I'm tired of doing work during day, I can always take a break and have a chat with my friends!"
